I’ve been a drummer and percussionist since 1961, mostly in the Washington, D.C. metro area (DC, Maryland, and Virginia) and the Shenandoah Valley. I appear on over 90 recording projects for numerous artists.

I’m a  retired teacher, and I enjoy producing music shows and helping musicians to improve professionally. I’ve served as a board member of several arts-related nonprofit organizations, and have received seven WAMMIE awards from the Washington Area Music Association (WAMA) for “Most Supportive of Washington Music.”

Some of my current music projects are:

  • HARRIED AMERICANS ROADSHOW (emcee, drummer and vocalist),
  • Percussionist for singer/songwriter Chris Anderson,
  • EPICURE CAFE MUSIC SHOWCASES (11104 Lee Highway/Route 29 Fairfax, VA) 2nd, 4th, 5th Wednesdays 7:30 pm reserved stage time and the spotlight, for serious musicians with websites and/or CDs, youtube videos, etc. These  musicians have “passed the audition,” in person or online and are encouraged to include cover songs, not just originals.
  • Host of monthly The Second Saturday Show at the Epicure Cafe
